Classes for Children

Eden Dance prides itself on providing small classes, personal attention and a warm & friendly atmosphere.

The objective of the school is to encourage children to gain benefit from the pleasure of dancing.

We want all our students of whatever age and ability to get satisfaction from the hard work and artistic expression which lead to the development of character and confidence.

While our aims are not purely academic the school has a record of excellence in examination results. Well over 100 pupils have been accepted by professional dance schools where they have achieved considerable success. Many of these have now moved on to careers in dancing, education and the arts.

Exams

Exams are taken annually by pupils in the ballet school. This enables pupils and their parents to regularly assess progress.

However, we do not consider exam results to be the only objective of our classes. We always encourage our children to perform to the best of their ability and to progress through the school whatever their technical aptitude.

Classes for Adults

Our range of classes for adults caters for all levels of ability and experience.

The aim is to provide enjoyable but stimulating classes without the pressure of exams or any other formality.

Performances

It is a feature of Eden Dance that we involve all our students, both children and adults, in regular full-scale theatre productions.

Our performances have become renowned over the years for their originality, colour & spectacle as well as a high technical & artistic standard.
